Position Overview:
The Electrical Designer is responsible for performing a variety of electrical design, troubleshooting and tests for new and existing products. Pro/E modeling, component and assembly drawings for new product design, modification to existing products, and related test equipment. Provides design and drafting support to electrical engineering staff, interfaces with mechanical engineering staff to ensure compatibility of electrical designed components into mechanical assemblies, works with vendors on tooling, component research, quotes, test fixture design, DVT testing and proto build support, and will generate and manage design and part change submissions (engineering change orders and temporary deviations).- DepositLimit

- Qualified candidates must possess a minimum 2 year drafting and design certificate and a 2 year electronics certificate or degree. 4 years of design, preferably in high volume production products with electronic PCB and cabling, electronic assembly and packaging knowledge, working knowledge of Pro/E Wildfire 2.0 or higher for electronic documentation as required for production of electro/mechanical products. Pro-Cable and PCB schematic and layout software experience desired.
